A few weeks in the Madden forum, a thread was begun that discussed the impact of penalty sliders on gameplay in Madden 13. In short, it was postulated that the penalty sliders impacted the gameplay. It seems that the penalty slider doesn't so much impact how often a penalty is called as much as it affects how often certain actions occur on the field. These actions impact CPU behavior on the field.

As you may have figured by now, I decided to apply the same principle to NCAA 13. Guess what, it works!
For those of you interested in the set I am currently using, I am using Thumstyx's set:
http://www.operationsports.com/forum...3-sliders.html
This set is a perfect blend of solid slider fixes as well as the incorporation of penalty slider concepts to make a tough but realistic challenge in NCAA 13.
I am no longer playing with the older sets below, but have left them here if people want to try them out.....
---------Changes as of 11/22/2012-------------
Level - Heisman
Time - 8/9 minutes
Speed - Slow (animations are better here)
Threshold - 40 (players feel a bit more explosive here)
Sliders - Default - THIS IS CRITICAL. THE FEEL OF THE GAME CHANGES DRAMATICALLY ONCE YOU START MESSING AROUND.
Autosubs - default
Penalty sliders
Offsides - 100 (helps with block shedding, anything lower doesn't seem to work)
False start - 1 (I haven't quite figured out why yet...but you still get a reasonable number of false starts at 1)
Holding - 53 (lowered a tad)
Facemask - 55 (gives a good number of calls)
Offensive pass interference - 25 (this plays in concert with DPI)
Defensive pass interference - 100 (speeds up how quickly receivers get into their routes...helpful with the offsides high and thus higher block shedding)
KR/PR Interference - 0 (still tentative, but it seems to improve the ability of a defender to change direction.)
Clipping - 33 (improves run blocking)
Intentional grounding - 100 (smart QB play)
Roughing passer - 54/55 (will get none at 54 and 4-5 per game at 55....your call)
Roughing the kicker - 40 (This works well with threshold at 40. Defenders flow well to the ball but fast players can still escape. This works beautifully with spread offenses.)
I am getting some very competitive games with this setup and they tend to be lower scoring affairs. I simply DO NOT have time to test this as I work 60+ hours per week. I would love to spend time on this, but need help from anyone interested. I only ask that people stick with default heisman sliders as changing ANYTHING has a dramatic impact on the gameplay.
NO HOLDS BARRED SET - ADDED ON 12/09/12
Note: You will get no holding calls with this set, but it dramatically improves line play.
Level - Heisman
Time - 8/9 minutes
Speed - Slow (animations are better here)
Threshold - 60 (research by Oraeon showed this was best, but I could never do it because of the line play....now I can)
Sliders - Default - THIS IS CRITICAL. THE FEEL OF THE GAME CHANGES DRAMATICALLY ONCE YOU START MESSING AROUND.
Autosubs - default
Penalty sliders
Offsides - 100 (critical for good line play)
False start - 53
Holding - 0 (critical for good line play)
Facemask - 45 (lower number helps increase number of fumbles)
Offensive pass interference - 50
Defensive pass interference - 50
KR/PR Interference - 50
Clipping - 50
Intentional grounding - 100 (smart QB play)
