First game using your sliders. Obviously the HUM running game will need to be adjusted 7.9ypc is far to high. I also had (4) 20+ yard runs.

All my runs come out of using the Maryland I formation.

I can't attest to CPU DB coverage glitch as I didn't throw any vertical routes.

CPU QB had a 48% Comp rating that's far to low for a 95 OVR QB.

Re: thumstyx NCAA 13 Sliders

I really appreciate your feedback

Having someone test this slider set with a top tier team is EXTREMEMLY helpful

I test almost exclusively with the 2012 Minnesota Gophers without HFA on play now and WITH HFA on in Online Dynasty as years progress

They are an extremely middle of the road NCAA team with no major standouts offensively or defensively

So again, I appreciate getting feedback on upper echelon teams
THIS is what will help this slider set gain some momentum and legitimacy as a realistic solid Heisman slider set

Thank You

I will post my stats from 2012 Minnesota @ Wisconsin later tonight

___

First game using your sliders. Obviously the HUM running game will need to be adjusted 7.9ypc is far to high. I also had (4) 20+ yard runs.

All my runs come out of using the Maryland I formation.

HUM running game is tough for me to gauge with Minnesota
They have an average O-line and Power RB in D. Kirkwood JR
For me the current HUM running game sliders help in having a BIG game every now and then but I can see them being an issue for more talented teams
I have been sharing this opinion my last few games with this set
Great observation and an easy fix

I can't attest to CPU DB coverage glitch as I didn't throw any vertical routes.

This is something I have tested extensively and we all know it is what it is...
That being said the coverage sliders where they are as opposed to default 50 do help significantly

CPU QB had a 48% Comp rating that's far to low for a 95 OVR QB.

Another great observation
A combination of HUM coverage and CPU Accuracy adjustments might need to occur for the next version

Re: thumstyx NCAA 13 Sliders

I just finished my game and after not losing to the CPU in I can't remember how many games

I lost... and it was AWESOME!!!

Again - This is coming off NEVER losing with a varsity slider set

I am VERY pleased with my current base set and I am only considering changing a few minor settings

HUM Pass Rush
CPU Accuracy
CPU Run Block

Here is the boxscore:

Here are some of the highlights of this game as they pertain to gameplay and the slider set

CPU Coverage:

On several 3rd and longs I was forced to throw deep and used 4 verts
I completed 1 of maybe 4 passes in this scenario

The HUM QB Accuracy had me overthrow once
Had a play broken up twice by the saftey
The completion was the slot WR who was uncovered but was tackled by the FS a few yards after the 1st down catch

CPU Passing:

This was for the most part spot on
Good decisions
Accurate passes
To raise the completion % I would consider changing the HUM Coverage slider

CPU Running:

Monte Ball was in BEAST mode
The O-Line for Wisconsin was dominant against my average D-line and Above Average LBs
Monte broke a few 20+ that really skew the yards per carry average but I really like the CPU running game right where it is at

HUM running:

Donnell Kirkwood Jr. put up a valiant effort against the stout Badger Defense
Not sure if I will change anything here BUT I might consider lowering the HUM Run Block as I like the HUM RB slider at 55

HUM Pass Rush:

If I make a change it will be here
0 sacks for my defense which allowed J. Stave all the time in the world to disect my defense

Summary:

I am pleased to call this a challenging Heisman Base set
I would put this set against any of the others out there and welcome you to try it out and provide box scores and constructive feedback (Remember to apply the ONLY house rule on the deep pass!!!)

I am also considering 2 sets
1 for 4-6 Star programs and another for 1-3 Star
Just an idea because a few changes here and there could mean a world of difference if you play with a Powerhouse vs: Middle of The Road vs: Bottom Feeder

The set on the front Page is current and ready for you to experience a great game of football

1 HOUSE RULE

Only use 4 vertical in legitimate 3rd, 4th and long situations
If you try to throw the bomb an unnatural amount of times you are not really playing SIM style football now are you???

This was an interesting, very close and competitive game

This first thing you will notice is the rushing yards and attempts my QB
Philip Nelson is a "Balanced" QB with above average speed that can hurt the opposing team on the ground if they are not paying attention

This is exactly what happened but unfortunately it was not enough

I noticed early on that I could have success running the ball with my QB

My RB did not have as much success and this hurt Minnesota (HUM)

The low completion percentage was due to my inability to find open receivers, an above average pass rush by Purdue and some dropped passes and tight secondary play

Purdue (CPU) earned this one and I did not feel robbed

There are 2 videos I want you to check out:

1.) Safety Coverage on 4 Verticals

What you will see is a "4 Vertical" pass where the Safety has to make a decision - No Glitch - He makes the wrong move at first but recovers to break up the play

This is what you will see with my slider set more often than not

I can't fix the glitch but I HAVE improved the coverage significantly

2.) CPU RB AI - Intelligent decision making - Cold Blooded!

Cold Blooded - Lets see a varsity slider do that...
This sort of thing happens on the reg with this slider set

Summary:

I will be lowering the CPU RB Ability as they have gotten a bit to gangster over the last 2 games

I also might consider raising the HUM Rush defense

I am not sure what I want to do with my low completion percentage

I REALLY like what is going on with coverage
I might consider raising the HUM WR Ability

If you have not tried my set yet I encourage you to do so
Please feel free to post boxscores and constructive feedback

It is a team effort after all

Good Luck!

This was a game in which MN (HUM) game planned for Denard Robinson and MICH (CPU) and executed

A game where MN made plays when they needed to that allowed the upset to happen
Donnell Kirkwood Jr. had a career day for his in game rating
But it was the O-Line that really deserves the credit

MN was intent on stopping Denard forcing MICH to pass and beat them with their RBs

Just like my last game against Purdue I expected to win and I lost
This game I expected to lose and I won

1 change made to the slider set
Decreased HUM Run Blocking

Updated penalties
(Some serious changes to penalties since last patch that I am working through week to week)

Latest version on 1st page

A lot of talk about the magic of re-rated rosters
How about good old fashioned tried and true slider tweaking

The latest boxscore and for the 3rd game in a row

The unexpected...
I expected to win and and walked away with a loss to Illinois

N. Scheelhaase lit me up through the air and on the ground
MVP of this game no doubt

A True Freshman QB, on the road is a recipe for turnovers

Illinois earned this one

No slider adjustments

Penalties will be tweaked
(dropping holding down to 54, still looking for the elusive clipping and PI calls after latest tuner)

Up Next:

Minnesota at Nebraska
This should be a fun one...
