Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

Got a game in Tennessee @ Missouri. Tennessee coming in on a 3 game skid. I played with the test set that is a couple posts up. Had a tough game even though I still wasn't thrilled with the result. Missouri was up 10-0 at half and I (Tennessee) had a total of 77 yards felt very nice but yet only down 10. Coverage was tight on both sides with the middle of the field still being open there were chances for plays but Missouri in this game had several swats over the middle. Missouri stunk it up on offense no balance at all I think they maybe had 8 designed runs the rest of the rushes were from Franklin tucking it and running basically right into my defense. The pass game was confusing Franklin was 17/17-148 going into the 4th quarter until all of a sudden drops everywhere and errant throws until they were down 24-10 then it was back to 100% completions, and the screens I know they are a heavy screen team but I would say they ran 20-25 of them. My defense is an 82 i expected to give up around 350-375 but they played like a 95 the majority of the game minus user swats still haven't had many although they attempted to make plays on the ball in this game.

Score Tennessee 24 Missouri 17
Fds ten 20 mizz 11
Total o Tenn 382 mizz 232
rushing Tenn 38-166 2tds Neal and Lane combined for 21 carries 61 yards ran a lot of qb power and draws beings Dobbs seemed like he was the only one who could run.
Mizz 17-8 (this is as frustrating as the pass game )
Passing Tenn 18/33-216 1td (awesomeness) mizz 23/30-224 1td (again only incompletions came in the 4th qtr)
3rd downs tenn 8/15 mizz 1/10
0 turnovers
Tenn 7 sacks mizz 3
Tenn 0 deflections mizz 8 (star corner had 4 )

Disregard this feedback I didn't have all the settings updated correctly sure wish I could go back and replay it with the updates.

Looking forward to hearing how it went.

I'm working "offline" at the moment. Trying to get some kinks out in terms of CPU play. Like Jp addressed - there should be a bit more kill factor. It's amazing how you can tighten user reaction in the air - but that also might hurt the CPU from even trying at times. We'll figure it out, I'm sure.

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders (FINAL VERSION)

I haven't tried the newest sliders yet but the ones i am using i just got blown out with. 63-21 with my Vandals dynasty. I am the OC and i am having a hell of a time moving the ball through the air. Lol. Sadly, i like it. It makes it harder to win but sometimes i want to Chuck my remote at the tv.

Well the game is complete, and yes lets get on that kill factor it just about ruined a perfectly sloppy game that just finished when somehow I stayed in it while at no point should i have been. Next time i will have to start the game prepared, first 9 passes 0/9 with 5 ints game should have been over right there. I was down 26-0 do mainly to turnovers but Auburn didnt do much for starting in my territory on 5 consecutive drives 4fgs 1td. Auburn's pass game was much more life like going 12/18-144 1td really only throwing to try to keep my defense off balance every now and then. The run game was below average at best 40-110. I play to stop the run but the holes were there but the backs (Mason in particular just didnt seem to hit it 18-36) if he just hits the hole he goes for 120 pretty easily my defense was out matched every way possible. Fds 15 (could've been a lot more) total offense 254 3rd downs 4/12 0 turnovers t.o.p. 15:48 which I thought they should have put up 70 + plays with there style.

On to Tennessee, once we settled in from the horrific start we just slowly chipped away. Auburn's defense was solid. We had 21 fds on a lot of short stuff with an occasional play action shot, did complete 1 long ball for a 53 yard td of a hitch and go the cb jumped the hitch and was beat but he did recover well but ended up missing a diving swat attempt. We ended 26/42-259 1td 5ints (all in the first 9 plays). Ran the ball ok 24-140 1td a lot of qb power and draws dobbs ended with 10-74 (no option plays) while lane and neal were 14-66. Im really liking the run game as of late getting average yards with average ypc or even a tick less with very Average backs. Total offense 399 at half I had 24 plays for 93 yards. 2/10 on 3rd downs 5 turnovers and sacked 2 times with around 15-20 pressures. The threshold at 5 has it playing well Auburn was a much faster team and it showed to a degree except in the run game. Score ended with Auburn winning 26-17 although I did have a chance to make it a 26-24-25 game. I had a 4th and goal with 52 seconds left tried a fade to North leading him to the back corner where he had davis beat mainly with size but blatantly dropped it. Im going to try the same setup but adjust the rb ability slider a little I would think it would give some of that kill factor when the cpu has all the momentum.
