Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

I may try the main menu fatigue off, dynasty fatigue on approach with this set. JoshC has it that way on his 50ish set and he said it should help negate the ease of the second half comeback by the user. I gotta have the subs or else there is no reason to worry about depth unless someone gets a rare season ending injury.

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

Once again, fatigue OFF in menu/dynasty.

Washington - Colorado (me)
7-39

First Downs: 13 - 22
Total Offense: 264 - 439
3rd Down: 2/10 - 9/13

CO QB - C. Miles - 21/24, 309yds, 4td, 87%, long 39
WA QB - J. Lindquist - 24/36, 233, 1td, 2int, 66%, long 30

CO RB - M. Adkins - 30att, 118yds, 3.9avg, long 11
CO RB - C. Powell - 5att, 17yds, 0.5avg, long 14
WA RB - D. Washington - 12att, 39yds, 3.2avg, long 13

This one was won from the start. Cakewalk. Their QB just looked confused in the pocket all game. They didn't really put up a fight, and my WRs just had their way.

Colorado (me) - Oregon State
23-44

First Downs: 16-24
Total Offense: 375-561
3rd Down: 4/11 - 5/10

CO QB - C. Miles - 15/36, 289yds, 2td, 2int, 41%, long 72
OS QB - B. Ford - 32/36, 354yds, 3td, 88%, long 44

CO RB - M. Adkins - 13att, 66yds, 5.0avg, 1td, long 17
CO RB - C. Powell - 4att, 20yds, 5.0avg, long 3
OS RB - S. Woods - 26att, 197yds, 7.5avg, 2td, long 50

They came out firing immediately and I simply couldn't keep up. They scored on just about every possession, it was kinda wild.

Colorado (me) - Utah
42-49

First Downs: 19 - 17
Total Offense: 460 - 440
3rd Down: 7/11 - 4/8

CO QB - C. Miles - 15/24, 309yds, 4td, 3int, 62%, long 61
UT QB - T. Wilson - 17/22, 209yds, 2td, 1int, 77%, long 47

CO RB - M. Adkins - 21att, 79yds, 3.7avg, 1td, long 17
CO RB - C. Miles - 12att, 42yds, 3.5avg, 1td, long 16
CO QB - C. Powell - 5att, 18yds, 3.6avg, long 7
UT RB - J. Poole - 19att, 172yds, 9.0avg, 3td, long 32
UT QB - T. Wilson - 12att, 54yds, 4.5avg, long 38

There was an exact moment in the game early on in the first quarter, where I had a bomb to the end zone to my WR, and it got picked at the last second. They went down the field, scored, and never looked back. If I had made that TD, this game could have gone totally the other way. I played a touchdown from behind the entire way, and time simply ran out at the end.

Looks good! I am definitely going to give it a shot in my next game. Minnesota ( me) vs Penn State. Interesting to see how it plays

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

There is definitely positive aspects to
A) Turning off fatigue in the main menu
B) Turning the game speed to slow in main menu

Struggled badly against an evenly ranked western michigan team. Was 0-0 into third quarter. Ended 17-10 me. Had a 3rd down pass that was going to come up short until the defender caused a fumble, which was caused by a facemask. So the play went sour, got real sour, then ended in jubilation lol. There were 4 fumbles, one by me and 3 by cpu......rain game.

I don't really have a preference to promote. It's great that some prefer fatigue off and some that don't.

Personally, I keep fatigue on. I just feel that is one of the few traits you can separate into a video game from real settings. Mental fatigue is just as powerful as physical fatigue. Bonehead plays and poor execution should happen in games just like they do IRL.

And they happen in my findings with fatigue off, more often.

Also, I hate the god damn cold/middle/hot system.. if only we had a NCAA 15 that could've removed that. sigh. I legitimately believe that's the reason years later we still need sliders to fix things.

I wonder if sliders on-the-fly need to be a thing.. they're all right there in the menu at any given moment.

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders (FINAL VERSION)

Tried the whole fatigue thing before off. Usually I like seeing fatigued and all the mistakes that happen as game progresses. Funny thing is I still saw mistakes, poor execution and so on.

I got blown up by Penn State at home 50-30. They demolished me from the start and never looked back. Funny part of this, this was the best game my Senior QB has played all year. 3 TDS, 1 rushing, 2 picks 23 yards 60% completion and only absorbing one sack.

The cpu was dominant but realistic. It was quite pleasant to watch them just fool me time and time again. Rated way higher than me I expected to get beat badly. Going to keep trying this whole fatigue thing till end the season.

Re: NCAA 14 - OS Community + Playmakers Split Sliders

Hey everybody I'm noticing very few flaws with these sliders except for one big one. CPU QB's will go on stretches (usually to start the games) of 0-5, 1-7, etc. Does anyone know of something I may have messed up cause I sure as heck don't! Thanks in advance boys.
