Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders for Dynasty

I forgot I had edited a couple players on ODU, I'm paying for it now. Do you actually watch your games in their entirety or get up and do something else? Also how do you like the play calls in CPU vs CPU? It seems like the CPU is more aggressive this year on going for it on 4th down, which I like it. I haven't seen them going for it on anything too crazy, but definitely more than they have in years past.

They generally are better than years past with their playcalling. The FCS team faked a FG and got a TD out of it against my team which surprised me. I think the worse your kicker/punter are the more likely the offense is to go for it. It also has to do with the aggressiveness slider of the coach.

As far as watching the games completely, I live in a studio apartment so even if I'm doing other things I am within sight or earshot of the game going on.

Funny you mentioned this, I figured my team would go for it, but 4th and 2 from the UNM 40 we punted.

At half time Virginia is up 21-7 with over 300 yards on offense.

Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders for Dynasty

Is your UNLV dynasty one you are just doing to test sliders, or are you actually invested in it? Sorry to keep cluttering up your sliders thread. I just love to talk football while watching it.

I'm perfectly fine talking football while watching it. Sometimes you see things during games that you don't remember to write about or don't show up in the stats.

Most likely this UNLV one will be a long term dynasty for me to continue. I just know this season is a useless season for my team, head coach will most likely be fired and we definitely won't be bowl eligible. That's why I want to run a lot of bowl games so come season 2 I have a slider set that will be pretty set for the future.

Just lost to UNM yay :/

Do you watch the entire games? Also you sticking with UVA for a main dynasty?

Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders for Dynasty

Are you planning/hoping to take over the HC job at UNLV, or test the waters somewhere else? We just successfully ran a fake punt on fourth and inches, was a pretty awesome play. Currently 28-7 over ODU, they can't handle our triple option attack.

Game Notes:

UNLV has a terrible defense. That is all. No talent, very little speed, teams can do whatever they want to it.

As far as what I'm going to do, I will see what jobs I ever get offered. Don't know if I want to stick with UNLV long term or move up, we will see what happens.
