Re: Jistics NCAA 14 Mixed Slider Set

Easily the best sliders... Play w the Aggies vs Oregon. They had 21 first downs to my 20. 243 to my 188 rushing. 202 to my 222 passing. I beat them 31-26 in the end... held them to field goals... They were 6-14 on third downs... I'm sold

I like these sliders. I did have to bump up the CPU pass protection by 5. By 5 games my DE had 14 sacks including one game with 5 or 6. Since bumping them up I've played 3 games and only had one sack with the same player.

Re: Jistics NCAA 14 Mixed Slider Set

Played a 2nd game. I beat S. Ala. 28-24. My dline gets very little pressure on the qb. I'm averaging 4 sacks, mostly from qbs attempting to run. I am using UMass, so there's that.

CPU passing is wide open. Low QBA keeps things a little reasonable. I plan to tweak the CPU run game (2.5/carry) and HUM PCV (doubt sliders can do much here).

Then I will look at penalties. I've had 3 called in 2 games, all against me.

What I'm finding is helping is really mixing up the defense. Some QB's seem to eat up zone so I change it to more man. Others are the opposite. I also am blitzing way more this year and I feel that the cpu QB really struggles when under duress. So I try to keep 'em "guessing" I had one QB go off on me in the first half, like 15-16. Then second half I blitzed a lot and he was like 6-16 in the second half.

Re: Jistics NCAA 14 Mixed Slider Set

Just lost to Pitt, 28-21. I was up 14-10 early in the third, then my defense got winded. My run game was nonexistent. I completed 55% with two int's. The Pitt qb hit 74%, but stuck to the short stuff as I was blitzing almost every down. Their HB went 15 carries for 83 yards.

Hey Jistics ,love your slider set , only thing im noticing is QB completion percentage, do you think a higher threshold may help ,maybe 50 0r 65. Thanks

Re: Jistics NCAA 14 Mixed Slider Set

Just wanted to say these are solid. I just played Bama with my teambuilder cupcake team. Hung with them first half but ended up losing 31-14 almost as realistically as possible. They broke a few big plays but not as many as pre-sliders.

Well done. These sliders may have saved this game for me. The defense on varsity with some slider tweaking is the most realistic yet. Challenging, but doable.
