I'm experimenting eith a cpl things... and I like it so far. ULL is up 35-7 on georgia state. I'm upped the pass coverage a bit... trying to make it where its tougher to score on good defenses but easier on bad ones... and I'm liking it so far.
Ran my first dynasty game using these settings...Ohio State BARELY squeeked by Buffalo!!! The defensive play, especially the AI against QB runs was completely horrid!! I was watching my 90+ rated LB just stand there and let the QB run right by him. Seemed like the reaction time in the entire defense was very weak. Buffalo shouldn't have been anywhere close to OSU, we won on a 4th and goal stand as time expired!! Not sure what to do about this, but looking at the stats you'll see both QB's just went run crazy.
Well I'm pretty sure both teams run the read option... so that should be expected
I fully understand that the read option will result in QB yardage, my issue was that the LBs just stood there and didn't even take pursuit until AFTER the QB was PAST them...literally just stood still while he ran within a yard of them. Both teams were doing this. So I changed the Defense from Freshman back up to Varsity and it made a world of difference. Now this next game was a blowout, but the defenses on both sides were actually coming up to try and make the plays as well as taking good pursuit angles. Problem was it pretty much shut down the running game (at least by RB, Miller still had a good game running both the option and scrambling), but I'd rather have that then having stationary defensive players. It came down to a superior defense (OSU) making plays like you'd expect. Let it be known I'm not complaining about these sliders at all, for the most part I really like them, I know how hard it is to find a balance.
And to answer your other question I'm using Yukon's roster.

Unfortunately that thing with the LB's is not slider controlled I don't believe. I'm pretty sure that's a yearly issue with this series...as I've seen that in online play last yr too.
I'd be curious.... because the offense in your mostvrecent game doesn't involve a lot of qb running...if you replay the buffalo game on varsity defense if you get the same thing. Bc I'm doing oklahoma vs UL Monroe...and OU is up 49-7 in the 4th...and my defense is on freshman...but ULM does not scramble with the qb much.
