help with sim defense

I play offense only and just sim till the next time I get the ball. Doesn't matter if I'm just the OC or the HC. My issue is no matter how good my defensive ratings are my defense always allows 24+ ppg (which is ok..whatever). I always lead the nation in rush defense giving up 60 or less per game and I'm always 120+ in pass defense. How do you get the CPU sim defense to actually stop a passing team and force some turnovers. My defense is always at the bottom of that as well. Anybody have any luck with this?

At one point I even changed my coach settings to stop the pass 85 and stop the run 15 but didn't see any difference. It's like I'm playing in a 7vs7 camp
