Re: SkUnDy's Saturday Night Fever Heisman Sliders

Coming in at #4 and on a 2 game winning streak I knew Florida was going to be tough @ the "Swamp", I wasn't prepared for just how tough.

On my opening drive my QB got sacked in the red zone and it resulted in a fumble that the defense returned 82 yards for the first TD of the game. I shook it off and both defenses continued to play well with the score 14-13 going into halftime.

After a FG by Florida in the 3rd QTR , Jaylen Walton had a 105 yd kick return for a td, new NCAA record. By the end of the 3rd neither team had gone over 300 yds offensively. I would only score 3 pts on a FG in the 4th and had a small lead of 31-23 with under 3 min left. Florida would not be denied. They moved down the field and got the TD then the 2 pt conversion to tie the game up 31-31. Their D played well and I couldn't move the ball after getting it back with :28 sec left and time ran out.

It took 3 OT for this game to be decided and it was absolutely exhilarating when my defense stopped them on the 2 pt conversion in OT #3. I scored and with the game tied @ 51-51 I came out 4 wide wanting to pass but saw how spread the defense was with a 3 man front and audibled to a draw. Hut. Handoff. 2pt conversion. Game over

Eagle I have started year 3 I'm bout to post stats from the wildest game I've played yet.

I ended up with the 3rd ranked recruiting class in the nation. 2-5 stars, 13-4 stars, and 7-3 stars. The 2-5 stars being a 6'3 229lb WR @ 81 ovr and a 6'1 305 DT @ 79 ovr. The WR started immediately at #2 on the depth and the DT will be 3rd behind by much bigger soph DT's weighing in @ 330 and 345 respectively.

My 3-4 defense is shaping up very nicely with the big DT's, Nkemdiche @ 305 lbs and other DE is 270 lbs. I moved a smaller DT, 295 lbs over to DE, he dropped from 75-72 ovr.

My soph(rs) QB jumped from an 86 to a 94 ovr and my #1 WR Laquan Treadwell jumped up to a 94 ovr. My offense is looking good behind a solid O-line and 3 JR TE's all rated 82+ ovr.

My hb is returning SR Jaylen Walton, a 5'7 170 lb burner with 94 spd. He will be splitting carries with 5'10 196 lb Itavius Mathers who will be running the ball out of the I and Ace formations.

We started the season ranked #4 and have gone 2-0 against Memphis and Tenn.
word, a 6'3 229 WR he needs to be a linebacker or something lmao but that is something serious right there

That was soooooooo not SEC Football lmao but what stood out to me were how the stats mirrored a 31-24 game that is saying something

after this year Nkemdiche will play 1 more season for Ole Miss(Game Wise) it's gunna be a sad sad day for you

Re: SkUnDy's Saturday Night Fever Heisman Sliders

Yea it def wasn't typical SEC football but I can remember back when I was in high school, early 2000's and Ole Miss and Ark went like 7 OT it was nuts.

I'm really hoping Robert Nkemdiche doesn't leave early, its going to be bad enough losing Denzel at the end of this year in my dynasty.

That WR is a monster. His spd is only 89 but he's so big and physical, db's don't match up well against him. Treadwell is 6'3 too so I have two big targets. I am missing Moncrief tho.....

Re: SkUnDy's Saturday Night Fever Heisman Sliders

I've waited an entire year (in game) for my yearly rematch against Vandy. Last year unranked Vandy handed my then #3 Rebels their first loss.

Vandy came into this game hot off of a huge upset win against #2 Alabama, moving Vandy up the #21 spot.

For the second week in a row they faced the #2 team, this week they didn't win.

Vandy played a very solid first half with the score 17-14 @ the half. Vandy wouldn't score again as my defense came out on fire and shut them down in the 2nd half, forcing 2 int and 2 fumbles.

R. Buchanon, a soph(rs) completed 24/26 passes and 4 td's, 3 of those going to jr WR L. Treadwell. Can we say heisman?

Re: SkUnDy's Saturday Night Fever Heisman Sliders

Just lost a frustrating game against #9 Louisville. We had 5 TOs and lost by just 6.

3 INTs...only 1 was of the "come on" variety.

2 fumbles after long scrambles by my QB (Itl tried to spin out last defender for a TD...should have slid.) Also fumbled a kickoff.

Damn...had them beat!

My WR corp had 5 drops again. I seem to have a lot...

Re: SkUnDy's Saturday Night Fever Heisman Sliders

Through 3 weeks I'm noticing in comparison to league stats:

No broken tackles for my team
To many drops for my team
Of course too few pancakes
Too many guys on my team leading nation in tackles (we do suck though... not a huge concern)

Re: SkUnDy's Saturday Night Fever Heisman Sliders

Not much can be done about leading nation in tackles. Every dynasty I have played this year, even when I was OC, someone from my team leads the nation in tackles. Tis EA's fault as no user players seem to register assisted tackles.

If you are experiencing too many drops, bump user WRC up.

For the broken tackles bump user RBA up and/or lowering cpu tckl to 70 should do it.

Hope this helps and you continue to have fun with the set.
