    Guide to Better Sliders

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...mc&usp=sharing

    Video Game Sheet = Video Game Results
    Real Life = 2012 - 2007 Results

    # = Season
    TOP = Highest Result
    BOT = Lowest Result
    AVG or A = Average
    HTOP = Highest Result in TOP category
    LBOT = Lowest Result in BOT category
    RL = Real Life
    D = Difference

    The game does not produce RL stats therefore we should NOT try for real life averages. This gives us the numbers we should be aiming to fit into the game. I have only completed 10 years worth of numbers but I plan on doing more, hopefully running a 60 year run for full dynasty info.

    What you should aim for PER-GAME PER-TEAM:
    Total OFF Yards 546 - 246 (USER: All Offensive Sliders) (CPU: All Defensive Sliders)
    Passing Yards 417 - 70 (USER: QB ACC/ WR Catching) (CPU: Pass Coverage)
    Rushing Yards 369 - 29 (USER: Run Blocking/ RB Ability) (CPU: Run Defense/Tackling)
    Points 46 - 11 (USER: All Offensive Sliders) (CPU: All Defensive Sliders)
    Passing TD 5 - 0 (USER: QB ACC/ WR Catching) (CPU: Pass Coverage)
    Rushing TD 4 - 0 (USER: Run Blocking/ RB Ability) (CPU: Run Defense/Tackling)
    Sacks Allowed 4 - 1 (USER: Pass Blocking)
    INT Thrown 2 - 0 (USER: QB ACC) (CPU: INT)
    Total DEF Yards Allowed 533 - 264 (USER: All Defensive Sliders) (CPU: All Offensive Sliders)
    Passing Yards Allowed 298 - 95 (USER: Pass Coverage) (CPU: QB ACC/ WR Catching)
    Rushing Yards Allowed 278 - 110 (USER: Run Defense) (CPU: Run Blocking/ RB Ability)
    Points Allowed 45 - 14 (USER: All Defensive Sliders) (CPU: All Offensive Sliders)
    Sacks 4 - 1 (CPU: Pass Blocking)
    INT 2 - 0 (USER: INT) (CPU: QB ACC)
    Penalties 10 - 5 (Penalties)

    Remember these are averages they can be over or under but should stay right around these numbers. This will keep you within the game results.

    Here is my personal slider set based off of this information:

        Before I post my set of sliders I want to say yours will NOT be the same. We all play differently and do certain things better. Also these have be formed from a half a season so far aka the 0.5 version. I will release a new version every half a season, as I'm sure I will see things I want to change. But so far these have led me to lead very good numbers and stick with-in the games realm of football.

          Cool concept... curious what you are seeing in terms of results with the 'extremes' at each range? Are they playing such that they usually can hit the higher average numbers?

          Passing = Texas Tech, Washington State, SMU, etc.
          Running = Army, Navy, Georgia Tech, Oregon, etc.

            Playing as Akron, Army tore it up rushing on me. I actually lost the game. Also impact players have been standing out more.

              Texas Tech (CPU) 42 Vs Iowa State (User) 21

              Their starter was out but here is there back-ups stats

              QB Stats:
              Texas Tech: 21/36 58% 229 Yds 2 TD 1 INT 1 SACK 124.5 QB Rating
              Iowa State: 23/47 48% 348 Yds 2 TD 3 INT 1 SACK 112.4 QB Rating

              HB Stats:
              Texas Tech: 17 ATT 72 YDS 4.2 AVG 2 TD
              Iowa State: 10 ATT 70 YDS 7.0 AVG 1 TD

              Team Stats:
              Passing 36 Att 229
              Rushing 27 Att 143

              Penalties:
              Iowa State: 6
              Texas Tech: 9

              I think they leaned on their impact running back more since they had their back-up in, and they were always leading. On the plus side penalties seem to keep falling in place, which was the main focus of the 0.5 slider.

              I'm going to try out the sliders against the team you asked since I run a balanced playbook at Akron. It will give me an idea of how well this is working.

              Overall I'm happy with how the game played against Texas Tech. Penalties were going to be key with getting this right.

                  with wr catch at 5 won't there be way to many drops, i played 3 full games with wr catch at 30 and there was atleast 7 drops per team on 9 min quarters, also im confused about opi and dpi the lower it is creates better coverage or more separation like a zone etc?

                    I really don't run into a lot of drops in my Iowa. State game there was 2 drops on my side.

                        I like the sliders but I am seeing way to many roughing the passer calls. Six called on my cpu rushers in the first half of my first game. I am also seeing the cpu qb quick pass too much out of bounds at the slightest hint of pressure. I run mostly a cover 2/3 zone d with 4 man rush. Was using buffalo against troy(cpu). Both of these can easily be fixed by dropping rp and intgr down which I am going to do and try again.

                          The idea of this post was to get guys making their own sliders. What works for me might not work for you. As for the flags I normally get between 20 to 14 flags total a game which is right were the game wants you to be. If you are getting too many of one flag I'd suggest dropping that flag down 5 then play another game.

                          Sadly we have to settle for getting some penalties more because the game simply don't call some of them.

                            I do understand that. In fact I have a nice set I am testing based off what you have done and I salute your research.
                            The penalty situation is just bad.You just don't get the right penalties called because the game is broken. Most of the penalty sliders effect gameplay, not percentage called no matter what it says in game.

                              Roughing the passer is broken and for sure iffy. Anything over 54 and it gets called way too much but under 55 and you never see it called unless you are controlling the blitz man and make the late hit.
