#20 West Virgina - 30, Maryland - 31. Used Version 5.0 Sliders.
Absolutely heartbreaking loss. Had a 30-24 lead but threw a pick on my side of the field on a 3rd & 13 with 0:54 left in the game. Their QB scrambles for a crazy 21 yard run, then scores a 4 yard scramble TD with just 0:21 left.
I manage to somehow drive to their 31 yard line but my 48 yard FG falls well short of the crossbar with 0:02 left.
Maryland's speed was definitely noticeable, esp. RB Brandon Ross.
Total Offense: WVU - 454 and MAR - 368.
WVU - Took out the 3 spikes for my QB's numbers.

5 games in on these, and I like the OL pass protection. Think it's spot on. Think run blocking for the human needs to come down, along with the QB Accuracy for both. My QB was 15/19. The CPU QB (Mannion before injury) was 25/33. The backup was 8/14, and the punter was 1/1.
I really like how you can run a PA fake, and it's not a sack in 1.5 seconds.
[quote=DH523;2045618263]Rolled with Version 5.0 (bolded black changes) on Normal Speed (after the last post noted the slowed down RB outside issues). Also slightly tweaked the Auto Sub to help try and incorporate the backup RB a bit more.
May stick with Normal Speed.
If the Speed Setting is anything slower than Normal, the User RB will stop momentarily after receiving a Pitch from the QB. This "glitch" happens on virtually every type of pitch or toss play. EA has reportedly issued a patch for the Madden game to address this problem, but so far, nothing has been done for NCAA14 to address this issue. You can easily confirm this situation by adjusting game speed to a slow setting and running a few pitch or toss plays.
Version 5.0 Tweaked User QBA to 5, CPU QB A to 50, HUM Run Blocking to 55, and CPU Run Blocking to 65.
West Virginia (Me) @ #24 Oklahoma State.
52 - 24
Completely blew them out from the word go. Didn't notice a big difference in the run blocking for the Human so may try lowering that for the next game. QB Accuracy was similar at 5 as well so may keep it there permanently. CPU Run Blocking felt good where it was though, may also tweak CPU QB A.
Total Offense: 617 vs. OK State's 256.
QB Paul Millard: 25/33 (75.8%) for 309 and 3 TD. 18 carries for 105 and 2 TD.
QB Chris Chelf: 14/28 (50%) for 153 and 1 INT. 7 carries for 41 and 1 TD.
RB Wendell Smallwood: 28 carries for 182 (6.5) and 1 TD.
RB Jeremy Smith: 13 carries for 60 (4.62) and 2 TD.
WR KJ Myers: 7 catches for 112 and 1 TD.
WR Daikel Shorts: 6 catches for 86 and 1 TD.
WR Tracy Moore: 5 catches for 68 and 1 TD (for Oklahoma State).
I really liked this sliders DH, I've had really fun games so far. Here's the last one. I'm in my first season as HC of KSU, after my first 3 seasons as OC and HC at Georgia State.
The only thing that I did not like is that I did not have to punt the ball even once in the game. But maybe because it was an easy opponent.
Will keep on testing this amazing sliders!
