Re: Playmakers CPU vs CPU Varisty level sliders

Make sure you download the recent rosters in my locker....

I finished up all schools playbooks about 2 months ago and now there are very few teams on the Classic rosters that utilize the No Huddle Offense and lots of teams go with heavy run playbooks

Also, Notre Dame is a really fun team to watch with Bettis, Ismail and Tim Brown all on the field.

I want to try smooth out both sets and finalize around Labor day because sliders have kind of slowed me down from my 90's rosters lately and Madden is right around the corner so I want to get going early on Classic teams for Madden 16 as well.

I'll add a flex bone formation to Notre Dame and formation sub Rocket and Brown in the wingback spots with bettis as the dive man. That's how i had it set up with my 30 year roster.

Re: Playmakers CPU vs CPU Varisty level sliders

I'd completely forgotten that I'd moved over to cpu v. Cpu before I sold my PS3 before. Time to switch my 3-4 dynasty to that from coach mode because I'm much better at building a team than calling plays.

Have you -- or anyone -- found a solution to reduce all of the QB rushing attempts? I had to resort to changing playbooks for CPU teams. Otherwise, I loved the results on CPUvCPU.

Intentional Grounding at 50 seems to do the trick. Balanced QB's move around in the pocket on this setting as well.

Re: Playmakers CPU vs CPU Varisty level sliders

Thanks. I may not have tried that.

I had too many games where RB carries and pass attempts suffered due to QB rushing attempts. Seems like any Balanced QB would run the ball 8-10 times, while Scramblers would rush 15-20 times.

Also, QB runs would always average well over 5-6 ypc, often eclipsing 10.0. This is not an anomaly when it occurs in real life, but it was the norm with my sliders. Literally, every other aspect of my sliders was where I wanted it to be.

Lastly, I believe that this issue may have more to do with the sheer number of capable running QBs available in recruiting, far more in NCAA2014 than exist in real life (IMO).

Does the game play differently when you load it up as a cpu vs cpu matchup versus when you switch to that mode after loading it as a user vs cpu game?

I stopped loading up the game human vs cpu mode because it felt like once you switched it over to CPU vs CPU mode after the kickoff the human selected team still had some kind of advantage programmed in.

So for the past month while tweaking the sliders I've selected CPU vs CPU gameplay right from the start.

It stops me from setting the strategy before games now because I used to love putting Big Hits at conservative and Strip the ball at aggressive for both sides which caused more fumbles and some of the best looking animations during tackles....
