50(ish) Threshold-based Slider Set for NCAA 14

Currently sitting at 1-4 with the 2013 UTEP Miners since the latest update...

- Two tough losses against New Mexico and New Mexico State
- Great win with backup QB vs UTSA (Jameill Showers got roughed up against NMSU)
- Blowout loss at TCU
- Stupid loss against Louisiana Tech.. was up 17-13 with a minute left and having drained all of their timeouts. I can't convert on 3rd down and they get the ball back. Scotty ****ing Young throws a 50-yard bomb that gets caught in the endzone, and we get picked off trying to heave the ball down the field.

This setup is the real deal, y'all. Plug it in EXACTLY as Josh has it laid out, and just have some fun with it. I'm using the original Volstopfan14 roster (PS3), but I went through and made all the coaching edits required, and I'm having a blast. Conference USA is so balanced, but it looks like the odds are not in our favor for a good first year.

Oh yeah, this is what I am talking about. Personally, I will take this setup over any Heisman-based setup.

I like that roster too...many of the original ratings for younger guys better reflect how they actually turned-out in real life. The other thing I like is that the bad teams are quite a bit worse than some of the more heavily edited rosters. If I recall correctly, that roster is simply a named version of EA's default roster. I hadn't officially started my Idaho dynasty....you're really making me reconsider....lol.

How do you set auto subs to 49?

And I cant find it in the editor either if you're suppose to do it there

Just do it in-game....

1. Hit reset
2. Lower the "out" to 45
3. Lower the "in" to 50
4. Raise the "out" one notch, it will stop at 49
5. Rinse and repeat steps 2-4 for each position

People are welcome to do so. Personally, I don't find a ton of use to them...stats don't tell the story. You can have the exact same outcome in two games with two different sets with one being far better than the other. A QB can throw for 200 yards and in one game, it is a combination of a lot of 15-20 yard gains from a variety of pass types; in the other, it's just a series of screen plays and short dinks/dunks (one or two of which get broken for yardage).

If I had video capture equipment for my PS3, I'd post video....which is a lot more insightful. Even then, there is nothing better than actually just playing the games for yourself.

Yes please, that would be a huge help so it doesn't get lost in the thread. Much appreciated man, I'm itching to get my dynasty fired up when the updated rosters get done!
