I have auto-subs on default 60/80 across the board.

Did you end up messing around with what you said you were testing? I’ll report back soon about my experience!

Also I’m trying gamespeed on slow as well as fatigue off in the main menu. But gamespeed normal in dynasty along with fatigue in dynasty with Matt’s exact heisman setup.

JoshC, didn’t you at one point do fatigue off and gamespeed slow just in the mm? I kinda like the results thus far. I know fatigue off in mm helps and I truly believe gamespeed on slow w ur default AA setup makes for great animations. So I’m testing this out with Matt’s heisman setup in dynasty since I know they affect each other. Any input brother?

I wonder this because you guys always said the higher the holding slider the better the cpu run game but you also boost the hum run game. Now you say it helps you shed blocks if it is higher. (The whole run game has me perplexed if you can't tell on the slideritis)
what's up gamebreaker I was wondering did you ever find a solution to slowing down the run game cause it's definitely easy to run the spread

Is there anything we can do with these sliders to get more balance to the CPU reactions for Read Option plays? No matter what QB I use, the CPU defender will usually crash in on the RB and leave my QB open for the run. In Madden this is tied to the type of QB you use (Scrambler/Balanced/Pocket) but this doesn't seem to affect the CPU decision making in NCAA14. I tried countless QB/RB combinations but the CPU will take the RB about 8 out of 10 times on average.

Is there anything we can do to make it more of a 50/50 deal? Maybe aggression, auto-subs or the injury/fatigue slider could balance it a bit more?

I'm doing a re-boot of this thread.

Much has not changed; but I am re-defining the scope of things a bit.

I plan on not just exploring AA, but also Varsity and Heisman. But let me tell you, the variety in gameplay I've seen is totally amazing on AA with this setup. I'll consider slider adjustments, if warranted, but I plan on spending a LONG time on the OP settings.

Everything is detailed now on the OP. Let's get back to NCAA!!!

My set up in the dynasty I'm in is all the same as you have it but, I have all the main menu difficulty set at varsity. Since that's technically the games default. Not sure if it matters. I have it on AA in the dynasty though.

I've played this game like this for a while now. It really helps all the rpg elements shine. Makes coaches abilities matter. It also makes the star recruit you just got matter more. And makes the weaknesses of a team matter more.

Just finished a game as Arkansas at Ole Miss. I ended up winning 49 to 42. I run the air raid and they run some version of the spread. Was a great shoot out.

Funny how when the game came out I really didnt like a lot of high scoring games.
Now that mostly all of college football. This game has held up well. All the different offenses are so great and really makes it feel like every opponent is somewhat unique.

Gonna be following this thread. I'm all on board using this philosophy on this game.

Have you been rolling with auto strafe turned off? If not, do you mind giving it a whirl? I'd like to get another set of eyes on that from someone who has played the game with the same settings.
