I just got the game and saw that no one has put any sliders up yet so I came up with thes after a couple games based off of what I liked and disliked about the game. The game does play slower than last year but for me it's still okay because the game is still awesome.

Njkroc’s NCAA 2005 version 1 sliders

Minutes: 8 (this year 8 seems to long to me)
Camera view: classic (I also have my Xbox video view on widescreen)
Level: All-American

Human settings:
Qb Acc: 6
Pass Blk: 8
Wr Catch: 8
Rb Ability: 0
Run Blk: 5
Awareness: 6
Knock Down: 14
Interception: 6
Break Block: 4
Tackle: 4
Fg Length: 7
Fg Acc:5
Punt Length: 7
Punt Acc: 5
Kickoff Length: 7

Computer settings:
Qb Acc: 8
Pass Blk: 8
Wr Catch: 10
Rb Ability: 15
Awareness: 12
Knock Down: 14
Interception: 6
Break Block: 8
Tackle: 8
Fg Length: 7
Fg Acc: 5
Punt Length: 7
Punt Acc: 5
Kickoff Length: 7

Penalties:
All penalties are maxed out to the left except.
Holding: 6
Face Mask: 5
Clipping: 6
Unsportsmanlike Conduct: 6

***All settings start from the left then just click up to the stated number***

Notes:

- It still seems like it is too easy to pass in this game and I’m not sure if I should change the catching or Qb acc.

- Comp may get to many sacks so if this continues either break block or Pass/Run blocking will have to be increased or decreased.

- Home field advantage is cool but the screen shaking is kind of dull and really doesn’t do a thing for me in one of the games the crowd was so loud my screen was shaking when I was in the redone but I was playing at home(little confused).

- Amount of plays will be increased the more minutes you play so if you want this to be realistic you will have to play 10-15 minute quarters I think 70 is the avg for 8 minute quarters.

That’s all I have for now guys so hopefully you can give them a try and let me know what you like and dislike. Please post your comments and ideas, also these are not perfect so if anything use them as a start and get back at me.

Thanks, Njkroc

Hey Jistic I know you usually put out some really good stuff so let me know what you think.

how many games did u test these on?

Re: Official Slider Sticky

I'm finding all of this very odd.....
The one game I just got done playing (Rice @ SJSU) it was very nice. I played on AA default. with full 15 Min. Quarter

I ran 80 plays...they ran 72.
I had 490 yards of total offense, they had 360
Rice han the ball 67 times and passed only 4 times in the whole game
I had no slowdowns
I was down 16-13 at the half but ended up scoring late in the 4th quarter to a 19-16 win. It was a great game...boatload of fun !

in the 10 or so games...the CPU has been outstanding in it's playcalling.

Wow this sounds as if the game can't be all that bad after all,I still don't have the game yet but its still early and from what I've expierenced last season it might be some time before any real sliders are found in the right combination, which is a good thing.

Its really too early to know and this particular post says that...it was a great game so I'm thinking not too go overboard on the slider thing its a long season so fellas pace yourselfs theres plenty of time so take it easy and find out if the gamrplay is down there are a lot of different teams in there ya know, and also rosters have got to fit in there somewhere.

Any other confirmation on this guy's slider adjustments? It sounds really good and I appreciate the effort, but mor reports to confirm would be cool.

I really had some good games from your sliders last season and noticed they posted at a good time in the season, how are you getting the ones posted here so early, its still a very long season and most sliders take quite a few games,so you're saying this was based off of a total of about 6 games?
