Effective

Just wondering how effective these staduim sounds are to making the game feel more realistic. I have never used these in the past but considering adding these this year.

Re: Effective

they're awesome if done right. I recommend adding reverb to any songs you use.

If you attend the games to a paticular team on a regular basis and know the sounds used then it is awesome. I have all the sounds in place for Fresno State and it makes it feel a million times more realistic! However for other schools, i don't really know so it doesn't do much for atmosphere. Putting in a couple generic marching band songs though could help

Re: Effective

It's gonna be better if you put the sounds specific to your favorite school, but it can still be fun even with just clips of some of your iTunes music playing.

For example, with my created school in NCAA 10 I had it set up so that the final guitar portion of Bohemian Rhapsody played when I scored a touchdown. It was awesome.

Re: Effective

I use more soccer chants for my stadium sounds, and let me tell you that it's unbelievable. The atmosphere is like your really there, but it takes a lot editing to get that perfect sound.
