How do you get music onto the PS3 game?

Okay, I plugged my iPod into my PS3 via USB cable and then copied the songs I wanted to add. I then unplugged my iPod and went into the game. When i try to set a stadium sound, it shows my songs but you can't click on them and if you try to play a preview, it says only MP3s can be played.

I remember that on 2k12 it would never play my tracks. a message always would pop up saying that the tracks could not be played.

Can anybody help me out and tell me what i am doing wrong.

You need .mp3 format music files. Whatever you copied was apparently a different format, so you'll have to convert them if you want to hear them.

Simply take a jump drive, external hard drive, etc…hook it up to the USB port on the front and then you--

Go to to view under music, or video, or photos, scroll down to the drive you've hooked up hover over it then push Triangle(notX) then select display all (view all)(press X) and it will show everything on the jump drive or external hard drive. Then either listen to or view the music, video, photos or copy to the ps3 hard drive directly.
