Cards with added attributes?

Can someone explain to me what these cards do. For instance why would you give cam Newton two plus PBK?

theyre boosts that are applied to your players that are on the field. so for example if youre using 99 cam that means everybody on your line would have +2 pass blocking.

So if I have 5 cards that each have +2 speed that those 10 points are added to everyone thats playing on the game?

Well, that's an unknown. I don't think multiples of the same guy give added boosts. I also don't think guys out of position give boosts.

Absolutely nothing. Just the info on the back of the card and going by how it worked in previous games, such as MUT and FUT.

I've gone on record as saying I don't believe the boasts really exist in the game.

Two biggest examples for me are CV Woodson and Ricky. Woodson's speed boast should make my Leader Berry have 99 speed. But I still can't outrun or keep up with Ford, Ginn or Bo. It's not the acceleration either - they will continue to gain on me. Maybe it's the stamina.

Also - Ricky's +2 rbk should be a huge boast and make him significantly better than HW Campbell. But it doesn't.

It'll be interesting playing with LL Cam.
