Example of a scam set up

Thought I would post my recent experience. Happened this morning after I purchased a card or madden. I get a message asking if I needed others. I asked who he had and he replied some names one of which being Woodson who sells for around 300-350k. I asked how much and then I get this message
So I replied list him and I'll buy. Then I get this message

I replied No thanks and replied this

And got a response of this

Keep your eyes out guys scammers are out. If a deal sounds too good to be true it likely is.

good advice.

anybody that just randomly messages you offering to trade or sell you cards should be treated very, very carefully. 99% are up to no good.

Obviously if he was legit he had nothing to lose by posting the card for the price he quoted but clearly he had other intentions.

Re: Example of a scam set up

I have an example. This happened a while back when I pulled a 97 Kuechly when he was going for 300k plus.

Scammer: Hey man can you trade me that Kuechly please! Hes my favorite player! I just started playing ncaa a few days ago and my team sucks and I want him so bad hes my favorite player please!

Me: Okay, what is your offer?

Scammer: I got elite Deion, Buckley and Winfield.

Me: Okay, you can sell them and buy it from me cheaper than market value.

Scammer: Takes too long I just wanna trade for him, please!

Me: So your team sucks, you are new and you have all those players huh? GTFO dude. Try scam someone else.

Scammer: Im not a scammer! Please I want him so bad.

Me: smh.

True story.

I disagree here, I don't remember being messaged randomly by very many people in my time playing this game, but the one's I do remember messaging me and ended up cutting me some nice deals. I haven't traded anything big, but I haven't really come across anyone trying to scam me out of my cards.

"He's my favorite player, and I've just been diagnosed with cancer... The doctors say i won't live to see summer. One thing i always wanted to do was just play one game on NFUT with LL Kuechly as my MLB...can you find it in your heart to help me? "
