Legendary cards getting more rare..

It appears legendary cards are getting more rare based on observation of the AH and forum posts around here. Cards like Palmer, Leinart and Ingram are selling for a lot more than they used.

Palmer and Leinart used to go for 5-10. Now no Palmers can't be found and one went for 50k last night. I also just saw a Leinart go for 37k. Only ones left are for 30k, 40k, 45k and 155k. Seems Plunkett cards are starting to do the same thing.. Weird!

This means I'll likely never get Tebow though as I'm sure he's being thinned out as well.

It's probably only going to go up. I'd buy the one for 30k but I don't have 30k coins hahaha.

I pulled a Leinart in back-to-back packs not even two weeks ago. Cashed one in for his solo challenge. Now I might regret even doing that since collection completion isn't even on my radar of things to do.

Wow, I bought two Leinart cards for under 6k this morning and flipped them for 15k very quickly. Didn't even check to see how many were up since I didn't filter him out. There was also a Plunkett going for like 4k this morning and it was sitting there for almost an hour, lol.

I just bought Flutie for 4100, (RB) Griffin for 5000 and Plunkett for 7500. There's a Ware up for 10k and a Ward up for a little less, but I'm going to pass on those.

I can't help but wonder if this is genuine scarcity, market shifts with fewer players now, or the cards are going for what they should be worth because they are rare and always have been.

I think they've always been rare to some extent, but they were useless. Did folks finally decided to cash most of them in creating the void in the market?

Judging by the dropoff in items listed on the AH, I am guessing that people have started to check out on NUT now that MUT is on the horizon. Tons of people are cashing out their coins to be able to move over to MUT later this month.

Not directly. People are selling their coins and cards for cash and then going over to MUT.

I literally saw Braylon Edwards and Joe Thomas sell out in less than an hour. Then go up for 4x the going rate. Sounds like to me that someone's setting their own markets. Maybe groups of friends, basically farming coins to make $

If that's what they're doing, then it is kind of dumb to pick those two players. There are more than a few players who are much more premium than those two.
