Question for EA developers "Dynamic Weather"

How far are we from seeing dynamic weather similar to what F1 is doing with their game.

Picture this:

Late Afternoon game transitions into night, lights come on temperature starts to drop. Beginning of third quarter light snow, end of third quarter a heavy snow, and end of the game completely clear.

I would see something like this as big step toward realism. I mean if those guys can do it with a racing game, why not EA with a football game?

Re: Question for EA developers "Dynamic Weather"

We've been asking for this for years. I wouldn't expect it until next gen, personally.

I'm no dev, but I don't understand why it's such a big deal. If Far Cry 2, GTA IV, Red Dead, etc., can have full 24-hour ambient lighting systems and dynamic weather, why can't this game?
