Assistant Coaches! This has been a long time coming. They not only effect how your play, but also how and who your recruit. At the very least both coordinators and a recruiting coordinator.

Heck, while we are at it, an AD mode.... that way you can actually make coaches worth something.

the coaches including head coaches should have ratings just like the players do,
the ratings could be recruiting, discipline, game preparation
for example nick saban would have a 99 overall recruiting ranking, therefore he would have alabama at the top of the recruiting rankings year after year,
and if there was a coach coaching at bama with a 75 recruiting ranking, alabama would be like 10 (at best) to 15 every year in recruiting
then if you had a 99 overall recruiting rank on a coach coaching at somewhere like troy, he would snag a few 4 stars and possibly a 5 star

Also:

-Coaches (head & coordinators) need to be hired/fired throughout the years in dynasty along. I would like to see their ratings progress/regress as well.

I hate how I can go 20 years in Dynasty, and each team has the same coach from year one. Just one of many things that need added to dynasty.

This would be great. This needs to be the focus to make dynasty worth anything.

I honestly believe coaches will be in next year. NCAA10 didn't have sideline interaction technology like Madden so it would've been a little anti climatic for EA to tout coaches in the game that were never seen.

But if that technology is brought over for next year, having a coaching carousel would satisfy multiple areas.

1) Marketing could slap it on the back of the box and make a huge fuss about it similar to Teambuilder this year and OD in 09.

2) It would go a long way to realistically addressing the progression issue. If you have a great coach, he can take two and three star recruits and get them to play and progress at a high level. Conversely if you have a crap coach, he could have a fairly talented group of players and still have a horrible season.

3) It just makes sense, college football is about coaching as much as it is about players. My friends couldn't name three players on USC's roster but they all know Pete Carroll.

In about year 20 of my dynasty, Joe Paterno is still coaching for Penn State. Really. He'd be like 105 or something. Coaches need to retire and get fired/hired at new schools.

At the very least we need coach ratings which affect the players. Bad seasons it goes down, good seasons it goes up.

Easy enough.

We need more depth and factors affecting our programs.

Currently it's a guarantee to get better every year.
