Assistant Coaches could be hired and if you start off with a 1 start team, You might have assistant coaches rated F or D but as the team starts to get better their rating could improve. Also there could be Diamond in the Rough coaches which could be just like a recruit in real life.(Doesn't look that good in highschool but performs well in college).

Yup. A few years back on the PS2, You were able to name captains and impact players. Why they take it out is beyond me.
