Slot Machine Recruiting Method vs Classic Recruiting Method

Simple enough; would you guys rather keep the slot machine recruiting bar where it's basically luck that decides the kid's fate, or would you rather scout them the way we used to? Also please stop the CPU teams from signing four 4* QBs when they only need one. This keeps the game very unbalanced down the road when every team should be progressing.

The classic method is more fair, and to a degree more realistic. The new Russian Roulette method is more entertaining.

Neither system is perfect, but the older system is better.

I think the roulette method needs to be tuned some. I assume the random topics are to simulate the recruit picking things they want to talk about, so maybe as the season goes on and you've figured out the things the recruit likes the percent of those topics coming up goes up significantly while the ones he dislikes goes down.

Why would a recruit bring up a topic he doesn't like?? That's why none of it makes any sense. Classic, please.

I don't think the aim with recruiting was to make it the most realistic experience. I don't know if you can ever replicate the recruiting process and get it right, so the game might as well make it fun...

That's how it is now. It's like it's own game. I approve.

Word on the street is that the slot machine method is still in. Why? If a coach knows for a fact that his facilities are the most important aspect for a specific recruit, yet his facilities are in severely poor condition, why in the world would he bring it up during a phone call? I just don't get it.

Because this time next year OS will complain that recruiting is too easy with people spamming the same 3 pitches over and over and over and over and over and over and over again

i like the recruiting they have in there now because it was more fun. The old recruiting got very boring very fast. With this there is some strategy to be done with deciding to try to sway, compare to other programs, etc. Sure a recruit in real life isn't going to bring up something he doesn't want to talk about but if they didn't have that in the game it would be too easy if you could just talk about what the recruit likes.

I just know that with the old recruiting i was very bored with it fast and hated the in between games because i had to do the long and boring recruiting while last year i didn't mind it.
