For the love of God kill the profanity filter. Ridiculous. Not to mention whomever the person in the legal dept. was that gave them the list of words to put in the filter, doesn't know the first thing about profanity.

I understand why they put it in, but it's not implemented well, and is just one more source of frustration.

Yes, LOL, my friends Eric and Russell are not filthy named bastards, they are real people and EA acts as if they are profane. It's funny for about two seconds, then you realize you're playing with Xxxx and Xxxxxx instead of name and the laughter subsides... So messed up.

The stupidest thing about this feature is names don't even show up in Play Now games. They could remove all profanity filters and I could name all of my players filthy, vile names and all the other guy will see is numbers. Makes zero sense to have a filter for something that is only filtering yourself.
