Also make what gear you wear affect your ratings. So maybe you can have a more protective helmet which raises your injury rating but lowers your awarness and gloves make your catching and carrying rating better.

I've seen a lot of people mention implementing this into the game but it doesn't really make a lot of sense as to why you would want it to affect the ratings of a player. Not trying to bash by the way. But if you are going to take down the awareness of a player by wearing a more protective helmet then shouldn't you take down the awareness if a player wears a visor because a visor creates a glare and can obstruct vision? Then people aren't going to want visors in the game anymore. But that is flawed because what if a player that wears a visor has less dropped passes than a player that does not wear a visor? How do you implement a ratings logic to that? Same with wearing gloves. I'm sure you could file through stats and find a player that doesn't wear gloves have less fumbles than a player that does wear gloves. So boosting a carrying or catching rating because of the use of gloves wouldn't be true. Although I don't believe they should increase or decrease ratings because of the use of equiptment I do understand the arguement for it.

adding gloves raising catching ability
braces and tape on legs lowers speed
braces on arms affects blocking
