Rosters update

How about to improve a bit for next year is to update the roster to 85 as it is on real college teams. If it can't for some reason fit on the disk.......have it update the day after the game is distributed. A small update comes every year so at least give us this since we have asked for this for years.

Outside of the obvious gameplay issues that need to be corrected (I'm not going to give a list, because it would be WAAAAAAAY too long), this may be the most glaring issue in the game, IMO.

Dynasty mode is somewhat hamstrung because of the small rosters - one cannot properly build depth, making it even more difficult to play catch-up when using a bad team/program. I would love to see a full allotment of 85 scholarships as well as some sort of emergency walk-on reserve. Imagine the following scenario:

You are taking over as a first time head coach at a school with both a personal preference and a roster suitable to run a pro-style offense, however, due to graduation, you return only 2 serviceable running backs. You sign 2 true freshmen, but neither are ready to contribute. You move a fullback or receiver to the backfield as your third back, hoping to redshirt your true freshmen barring injuries. Somehow, you miraculously have made it to your 10th game without having to burn the redshirt for either freshman, but in this game you lose your starter for the season and your main backup goes down with a badly sprained ankle in the 4th qtr. Going into your last 2 regular season games, you have only the converted fullback/receiver and your two redshirting freshmen available. Do you burn one or both of their redshirts for 2 games

would you want to reward a scout team walk-on or two with an opportunity to get a few carries for all their tireless work?

In addition to a full 85 man roster, in Dynasty mode there should be a pool of scout team walk-ons available for these situations, with the option to reward them with a scholarship during each off-season. This way, in addition to recruiting with a full 85 scholarship limit, you are able to invite that undersized 2* from your back yard to walk on with the outside change of earning special teams PT and/or a scholarship by his last year or two on campus. Just as with the professional sports games, you won't have unlimited players available for any given game - you have to make a travel/dress list (with the option of the CPU doing this automatically for casual gamers), and to add someone to it, someone must be removed.

I understand that the devs have hardware limitations, and adding this many more players would be a difficult task, but for the hardcore players, I would love to have the option to partition a portion of my system's hard drive for additional storage for roster purposes.
