Formations, Motion, and Player Packages

The packaging system and formation set ups in this game definitely leaves a lot to be desired. One thing I would love to see is instead of the motion the way it is now, have it like a cursor so you can choose where they go. For example instead of motioning a receiver across the formation, you could motion him closer in, to the backfield, opposing slot, or way outside in a flex or bunch position with the other receiver(s) on the field. So for your example you could have put the better receiver between the backs out wide and motion him in the backfield, or instead of hardcoded formations, pick personnel and place the pieces wherever on the field with sets of concepts (inside/outside zone, options, mesh, shallow cross, etc.) adapted to the formation you come up with. That way you could better emulate true spread/air raid teams that run maybe 10 concepts out of 20 formations.
