Bruteforce stopped working for me (screen locks up at start, then crashes)

I can't seem to find a working version (tried 4.6, then went back to 4.4.~)

Curious if all the .NET fixes over the years have made this unusable?

    You want free speech?
Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours.

I have 4.2 installed with no issues. You don't need a newer release if you are only using it with the PS3 because those files haven't changed in 10 years.

Bruteforce is not built on .NET as far as I know. It would likely be built on the .NET Framework if it was and most of the changes are on .NET Core (now called .NET) rather than the .NET Framework (which the dynasty editor was built on). .NET 7 is going of of support next May while .NET Framework 4.6.2 will be supported for another 3 years and 4.8.1 (released last year) will likely be supported at least until 2030.
