All I can tell you is that I used to play it on XBOX and there were already hints of the drop problems that are present in 2005, although they weren't as noticeable. I've had games where the CPU QB would go 3-25 and things like that. It wasn't as bad as in 2005 but still annoying at times. I've seen how much better 2005 plays on PS2 and I'm inclined to think that the 2004 ps2 version may also be better than its XBOX counterpart. In fact, it seems like all EA games I used to play on XBOX and then tried on PS2 are better on PS2.
