PM me. I'll send you my home address and bet $100 with you that Madden 2006 retails at more than $29.99. To me; anything above $30 for a video game is outrageous. I pay more because I'm forced to.

You might as well turn off the electricity at your house because of the monopoly of the electric company, while you're at it.

It's only a video game, man, deal with it.

Why? If you create and own a product shouldn't you be allowed to decide how and who markets it?

No there's plenty of Sega/Take 2 fans that agree with you. Fight the power!

Yeah, but Sega/Take 2 stopped making their college football game altogether.

You have a choice. Don't buy the game, play this years games, heck, or even make your own game.

You don't think those affect their competitors the same way? Have you heard lately how much CBS makes off of the Final Four, or how much Fox makes from the Superbowl doesn't affect the other networks? Then you've got a lot to learn about how TV works. If it didn't affect things so much, why would companies be willing to pay so much?

As for other deals, how about cable companies, electric companies water companies. Although where you live it might be different. But around here, with the exception of a few areas, you don't have a choice.

Why $29.99, the game was more then that when it came out this year. Games have been $50.00 or even more for a LONG time. Remember Neo-Geo games for that were going for $70.00-$80.00 a piece.

So don't buy them. That's your choice.

You're forced to buy a video game? Explain that to me. If you really don't want to pay that much, wait until the games start getting returned to stores, then buy them.
