If I'm not mistaken teams are only allowed like 5 official visits so there could be some strategy but I think schools just invite a lot of recruits to visit at the same time. Also, simply being invited to a game isn't an official visit.

No, players only get 5 official visits. Schools can get as many as they want.

That's not entirely accurate. I believe the number is around 56 players that each team can host each year on officials. I'm pretty sure the limit is for regular season games only. Junior Days and Spring Games don't count. Ohio State only brought in about 30 guys this past year because they had such a clear list of who they wanted.

There's also been rumors that the players's visits will be cut from 5 to 4. If this goes through, I suspect you will see alot of players not take an official to their home school, even if they are interested.

Wow, gang tackling, new qb scrambling, top tier players, the new in the zone feature, ea just keeps adding more to the gameplay and making it better year after year. Hats off, can't wait to get it, only 80 more days to go!
