Just looking at the individual player models from the screenshots, I really like how the graphics look compared this year to Madden's. I don't know what it is, because you can tell it'sstill the same engine, but the tweaks they made look nice: thinner models, better shoulder pads/jerseyes, and the pads on the pants really stand out now (better than their NFL counterparts).

Also, in the video intreview with the developer, if you watch the screen in the background, some of the animations and what not look really really nice. I'm pretty excited about this game right now...

I agree, these shots show a lot more detail than Madden.

whether or not they are better than maddens is unimportant. whats important is that the graphics look much better and are very detailed this year. but yes the player models do look better and more proportional than maddens.
