coach mode in '06????

Has it been confirmed if there is a "coach mode" in 06??? Or will it be like last years where you just call a play and make sure not to hit any buttons after the snap?

I know some out there like this but for me I call no joy in this at all.I mean you pick the play and when you see your team blow when you know that you would have done something different to me that well sucks but to each his own

Well, as long as they catch the ball and the QBs are smarter in '06 then I'm fine with our generic 'coach mode'.

I've just started playing in coach mode, and for some reason it seems more exciting then controlling the players. Just nice to know its up to the quality of your players and makes recruiting even that more important.

That's exactly why I play that way. Just imagine it in '06 with a good passing game. The passing game killed 'coach mode' for me in '05.

What have been the issues with the passing game? I know the completion percentage has been a little low, but overall not too much to complain about. I just finished my first game last night using the sliders from the utopia board. Arkansas (me) vs. New Mexico State. Matt Jones ended up going 7-15 for 156 and 1 td. I stuck to the running game which might have opened up some of the passing game.
