EA signs exclusive deal with NCAA!

In an article found in Game Informer magazine, EA has signed a deal with The Collegiate Licensing Company, which represents the NCAA for football only for the next 6 years. EA has the rights to the teams, stadiums, and schools. EA also has a deal in place with Notre Dame. The NCAA supposedly actually wanted to do the deal with EA citing that no other company was willing to try and make a college football game. According to Pat Battle, CEO of The Collegiate Licensing Company says,"Ea has done a great job in building NCAA Football into one of the top sports titles in the country, and we want to make sure that EA is committed to continuing to build and invest in this being one of the best games in North America." Battle also stated that he doesn't believe that basketball will become exclusive and that other collegiate titles are in the works such as hockey, lacrosse, and yes baseball.

this sounds like a good thing, my brother loves lacrosse and I'm getting into it as well. My school Lynchburg is in the D3 Elite Eight right now, playin today to go to the final four. Go Hornets!!!
