Honestly, gameplay is faaaaar and away the #1 concern for me. Eg: World Series Baseball 2K3 is my favorite basebal game of all-time, yet it had probably the worst swing animation of any next-gen baseball game that was released.

Don't get me wrong, certainly I'd love see spot-on realism in the animations, but it's probably at the very bottom of my list of important aspects of a game.
