Re: Ea honestly

From what I've seen of th game it looks good and I can't wait for it to hit the shelves. I'm hoping that this game is as good and we don't have to worry about the slow down factor on the Box.

Wow, I don't know why everyone was so quick to jump on the initial poster. What he said is basically true.

EA never adds enough new animations and it's tackling system is somewhat outdated. This is just not a strong point of EA Tiburon. I thought this would be a perfect year for both NCAA and Madden to overhaul there tackling engine(have it be a bit more real time), but I guess we'll just have to wait to next gen.

NCAA 2006 looks great nonetheless.

Re: Ea honestly

I would like to say that the gang tackling animations look a lot better than Madden's. In the Michigan vs Ohio State PotD you can see Mike Hart get stood up by a CB and later a LB comes and plants him.

I agree. Realistically, I didn't expect EA to overhaul the graphics... especially since this could be the last iteration before the NEXT GEN. However, at the very least, EA should've added a lot more animations. I am tired of the same tackling animations that have been in the NCAA series for years. If EA is gonna use the same graphics/player models year after year, they should at least include a ton of new animations each year so the visuals don't feel as stale.

The things that I loved in 2K5 and hoped that EA would implement are the various tackling and sack animations and the ESPN style presentation and replays.
