Re: Sports Illustrated covers

I remember seeing a screen where SI wasn't in it and it was called a generic name (or maybe I'm just crazy)...I'll look for it now, and see if I can find it.

The EA/ESPN deal begins on January 1, 2006. It make sense for EA to wait until next year since they are probably dropping Madden after this year (based on rumors that Madden will retire after this season) and debuting a whole new football engine for the new systems.

Because ESPN already has their own announcers. The guys that do the sunday night games will now do the monday night game. And vice versa, Madden (and I assume Al Michaels) will move to the sunday night game on NBC.

The rumors have been pretty strong for over a year now. I just saw that on ESPN, so I guess he decided to say in the booth for a while.
BTW, this is his last year on MNF. He isn't moving to NBC until the 2006 season. He had hinted at retiring after this season, but I guess he changed his mind.

Thats sound logic but doesnt the game also have both Adidas and Nike?
