It's not just the opponant, it's the game time. I don't want to play a game in week 15, I want my three non-conferance games to be early.

YEs but it was a pain in the "neck", and there are times you are stuck with a late in the season game.

I believe you just had to change the team around to a 1-AA team, then delete the game, and have a game in a different week...

Re: The recruiting "pipeline".....

one way to fix that problem is to create another coach and have that team schedule a game against that team in that week. that should fix the problem. it isnt too much work doing that either.

But when you do that the coach for that team is replaced with a division 2 coach with a new playbook and coaching style for that team right?

you can get rid of those extra games if you choose. I preferred to save them and use it to control the otherwise uncontrollable mid majors like North Texas and lately, UCF.

I remember when my whole non-conf schedule would be playing those teams. That made my non-conf schedule more like a chore than a fun schedule. I really hope this is the year that North Texas stops becoming a recruiting god, as well as the other 1-2 * schools in good states that always land top classes.
