the old controller configuration? I just can't seem to get used to the new version. Wonder why ea changed it?

no way, I love it. Took a few games to get used to but now I can do it by instinct with no problems. Plus it gets me ready for Madden since it'll be set up the same way. I much prefer the continuity of turboing with X on both sides of the ball along with how much better evading pressure is by scrambling with X.

I'll probably go along with the new layout. I'm assuming it'll probably stick for future games too so I might as well get used to it as soon as possible, ya know?

don't have the game, but it seems like you guys give up too easy....the new control sounds sweet....i like the idea of using the stick.

Re: Anyone else going back to....

Could someone post some of the controller changes for the PS2 version? That would be a big help!

I went back to the old one also. I didn't like using the stick on offense at all. By using the stick you can't use spin moves because the button and stick are too far apart. I'd rather just use the R and L triggers for jukes. Also after playing the NCAA series for over 500 hours of my life, I could never get used to the A as speed burst on defense and B for changing players. Using B to change players isn't even a good idea in the first place since the button is too far from tackle button.
