Did they change HFA?

I always hated how you couldn't hot route if the stadium got to loud. In real life teams use handsignals to audible/change routes. The staidum is just as loud when the home team is on offense, yet they can magically hear.

Re: Did they change HFA?

Sure mistakes happen, but if a QB calls an audible the WR will confirm he heard it. The qb wouldn't just call it, see that the receiver can't hear yet still throw the route he wanted to audible to.

Re: Did they change HFA?

That's just it, the QB doesn't yell out the audible. They have hand signals like tapping their helmet or something like that. It's not realistic when you are playing at the top 5 stadiums and %100 of the time you can't hot route or audible unless you just had a big play. But then if you get a big play the user can hit r2 and render audible useless.

Re: Did they change HFA?

why dont you just turn it off then? then it would have solved the drop problem.

Re: Did they change HFA?

How can anyone be upset with HFA from last year it was the greatest addition to any football in the past 5 years. All you had to do was call the hot route twice to get around the recievers not getting the signal. I cant believe people didnt like HFA. One of the reason I can't stand madden is the lack of stadium noise.

Re: Did they change HFA?

While I don't think HFA was some brilliant revolution, I do agree that I always hated how games never had crowd noise. One of the most energizing things about watching sports/playing sports is how pumped up the crowd gets, and all sports games have absolutely dead crowds.
