Please post your highest overall ratings, by position, in Race for the Heisman:

I've only done it a couple of times, but can't get better than an 80 OVR for a Scrambling QB...with 84 Speed.

Is it just me...or does it seem like the rating are totally predetermined:

Scrambling QB:

3,050 Pts: 80 OVR, 84 SPD
4,850 Pts: Same
5,225 Pts: Same

I agree, this is the same for the other positions also. Although I did get offered a scholarship to #1 USC with my scrambling QB only racking up 1700+. It surprised me a bit, wonder if i did something weird. He still had 80 OVR and 84 SPD.

My pocket QB was 82 ovr with 92 arm strength and 92 acc

I think all pocket QBs have the same ratings.

I don't get the game til tomorrow... but those ratings vs the total attribute points earned looks linear to me.

I guess it could be possible that x points will net you y/z in attributes, but maybe a higher x will net you the same y/z but allows for a higher potential in ratings?

I highly doubt it, but just a thought.

Im gonna get the game, but it sounds like to me its going to be another story of EA giving the goods but NOT giving the goods on a game. There is the workout to get your abilities..but from what you guys say its very linear. No real variety. Once again EA giving you something, but not really giving you something if you know what I mean.
