NCAA 06 has the absolute worst effort of any of the EA trax. Honestly, there are usally 2 or 3 songs I like, but I scrolled through the list and immediately muted my TV.

I was surpised my the track selection of EA Trax.
- The Pixies?
- Ned's Atomic Dustbin?
- NOFX?
- Digable Planets?
- De la Soul?
Nothing against these artists, but these were the 'college radio' darlings when I was in school in the early 90's. Does 'college radio' even exist anymore?
If EA is trying to mix every experience 'college' in with NCAA 2006 then the box should smell like a dorm room, stale cigarette smoke, empty beer cans, and b.o.

At least there is the option there this year for people who had always wanted EA Trax in the NCAA game.

Come on, the sound track is pure garbage. Its a bunch of whiny punk songs that sound like crap I listened to when I was 10, the only exception being the song from The Clash. Thank goodness for the option to listen to the school bands.

The reason they suck so much is because they have nothing to do with the college atmosphere. They just throw a pile of songs together at random and call it "EA Trax." I have yet to ever see an EA Trax that I'm happy to have included in a game. This is mainly because even the times when they do get the songs right, they just have way too few, so they get old fast.
