Re: HDTV Owners - Your thoughts on Graphics

Have a 4663 Samsung DLP and the game looks great. I only got in 1 game last night, but I didn't see anything that looked bad at all. I'll pay more attention tonight, but if it didn't jump out at me in the game I played last night, then it probably won't tonight.

This is the Xbox version as well.

60 inch Sony LCD looks fantastic!!! 16:9 works perfectly with NO slowdown... even in rainy games. The field graphics look fantastic!!! My biggest gripe with EA Sports football games was the way the fields looked. They finally have a organic look!!!

XBOX version - no shimmer at all

I have a 55" Mitsu CRT that has been ISF calibrated by Craig Rounds of Home Theater Spot fame. I was pleasantly suprised with how good the game looks on my HDTV. Sure there are some jaggies and a bit of slowdown here and there, but the colors in this game are outstanding.

I was majorly disappointed in last years game but I think EA made up for it with NCAA 2006.

I agree NCAA 05 looked horribly jaggie and dull on my 48" sony wega widescreen HD. But this version is cleaned up a ton. Still a slight jaggie here and there but nothing compared to last years version where the stadiums looked horrible and you couldnt even look at the players face without getting a bunch of lines. Looks pretty good to me. Not as good as MVP in 720p but still pretty good for an 480p EA game.

On my Sony WEGA HD, the replays are incredibly sharp and gameplay looks nice, but you really notice the lack of lines when they put up stats and stuff during the game, any typography is very pixellated. Still, it looks better than I expected and better than MVP does.
