Rice has a good option QB. They run a lot of flexbone and also have option packages from the shotgun.

I'm gonna start as Navy as soon as I get the sliders fixed to my liking.

I have been messing around w/ the sliders that have been posted trying to find out the most realistic ones that fit my play style.

thanks for all the replies

Too bad Kyle Eckel doesnt have another year left in eligibility.

Speaking of option, anyone else notice how much harder it is to execute this year as opposed to past years? I like that I cant pitch when a defender is standing between me and my pitch man now.

Also, if you want to start as a 1AA team, Georgia Southern runs the ball more often (in terms of % of plays) than any team in 1A or 1AA. They are a full-time option team. It is where the Navy coach came from - Paul Johnson.

Re: Want a 1-2 * team who runs the option for Dynasty

The three teams with several three-back and option run formations are Air Force, Navy, and Rice. But FAU (2nd string qb is rFR with spd=87), Army, and Ohio also have run heavy playbooks with several option plays. If you have excel and want a list of Div I-A schools with a summary of the playbooks, check my lists here:
NCAA Football 06 Lists

You could also use the Option run generic book with teams that have fast qb's. There are about 15 teams with 85+ speed qb's. USF and North Texas are 2*, and each has two fast young qb's. I think all the other 85+ guys go to schools with more than 2* program ratings.

You should take a look at vandy. A 2-star team with a balanced attack, including a lot of option. Impact QB and WR. Plus you get to play in the SEC.

rudiger,

i dont know if i would advise that, because while those teams have fast QB's, the rest of their offense (especially o-line) was probably not recruited to run the option.......

at least check the run blocking numbers for the oline and wr's before going that route..........
