Is there any equipment that's not in the game?

I think they do a pretty good job of giving you choices, but one MAJOR equipment gripe I've had the last few years is the lack of knee braces. The player models look real nice this year, but I just think there are too many linemen who use the knee braces these days, to NOT have them as an equipment option. It would add a nice look to the linemen's player models.

I was in fact looking for knee braces when I was doing UA updates to BL's v1.5 roster a few nights ago.

I think players should be given the option to wear different types of socks, too (short, long, long with stripe, etc.) instead of it being the same for every player.

Agreed.

And I think there should also be an option to let players helmets get scuffed throughout the season. Obviously, it couldn't really keep scuffs from game to game, but give it that look like it hasn't been repainted from week to week.

Isn't there a rule now that says that every player on a team has to wear the same type of socks?

I wish a lot of that stuff was included too, but maybe that'll be part of the next-gen version's package. I'm hoping.

A few years ago one of the features that was promised but pulled at the last minute was players wearing casts for injuries they sustained. For example, say a guy broke his forearm...he would be out for a set amount of time like usual, but when he came back, he would be wearing a cast on that arm while he was playing.

They had screenshots of it and everything. Dunno why they took it out...

Is it me or did they change the rubber pads on the players arms this year, they are definatley shorter. And also i think they need to add more facemask for the revolution helmet, because there are definately more facemask than three, and also deferent color mouthpieces.
