My penalties have been darn-near perfect and a non-issue so far for me in my dynasty.

I have holding, defensive & offensive PI turned all the way up and clipping about 75% full. Everything else is default.

I never understand why people want penalties. The only ones I understand are PI, Offsides, and roughing. Otherwise, who really looks foward to a holding or clipping call? Sure it's realistic, but so are fumbled snaps and offseason injuries, and I don't see people wanting those.

I've seen many clipping and facemasking penalties this year. I've gotten a PI call once, and a offside call twice. I've seen one false start and one holding call. Granted, I"ve only played 10 games.

Penalties are more game specific than off season injuries or fumbled snaps. I'd love to see a fumbled snap but it does'nt happen as much as a penalty would. Penalties are what change the momentum and pace of a game. Seriously, how would you like it if fouls were non-exsistent in basketball or penalties in hockey. It would definitely ruin the gaming experience

Re: I SWEAR.. did EA turn off penalties this year?

The only problem I have with the penalties is that most of the time the players don't actually do anything wrong. For intance, my lineman with be flagged for holding, and I'll go back to the replay and he blocked someone normally for about 2 seconds and the ref throws the flag for no reason.
