What gives? I don't think I've seen a late hit in any football game for years. I remember one of the old Maddens had it. It's such a HUGE part of QB play, especially with a scrambler, but not only should late hits be called near the sidelines, but they should be called after ANY play on the field.

I can't wait for the day my QB gets hurt trying to step out of bounds on an option play off of a late hit.

I really don't understand why this isn't in the game.

especially against people that scramble with young and vick all day online sometimes i'd like to late hit them every damn play.

True. And you should be able to. It would be a trade off. You take the penalty, but you rattle his composure. Right? Make him think twice about running.

EA Sports thinks the only penalties in football are clipping, holding, face mask, and an occaisonal phantom kick catch interference. The penalty realism friggin sucks.
