BCS Poll

Can somebody please explain to me how the BCS poll works this year?

I believe it takes all three polls (media/coaches/CPU) in combination with each other, calculates an overall average and whatever it comes out to is our BCS score. Is that correct?

What info does the CPU poll take into considertation when determining its rankings? And is this how its going to be this year in real life?

Any help or opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

B.

Re: BCS Poll

I stopped worrying about it, lol. It's all garbage anyway. Look at the new Big East. How do they still have an automatic invite to a BCS game? They don't have anyone good anymore. WVU and Louisville, that's it. Other than that its a bunch of good basketball schools without much of a football program (Temple, UConn, Cincinnati, Syracuse) and then there's Rutgers haha.
