player awards, rambling

My running back, Michael Hunt, won the Heisman, Walker, and Maxwell awards all in the same year. Anyone else ever get something like this to happen?

It was a mostly simmed season, in my created South Michigan Militia dynasty, with me playing 2 games I think. His rushing numbers were 334-1787 (5.4), 24TD, plus receiving numbers of 31-633 (20.4), 7TD. I thought that was pretty cool, and the Heisman presentation this game has is also pretty cool.

In the seasons I've gone through, it really doesn't seem like the inflated QB numbers affect the Heisman balloting that much. Since all QB stats are inflated equally, it's still only the top 2 or 3 QBs that get consideration. It'll screw things up if you play every single game and are hoping for your own QB to win it I guess, but as far as QB versus RB, it seems to be split pretty equally (for example, Adrian Peterson usually wins in one of the first two seasons).

I'll add to the "I like this game" sentiment. Of all the EA football games I've played, this one has the fewest glaring flaws, and none of them are game-killers for me. I knew this year's NCAA couldn't possibly be worse than 2005, but I didn't expect to actually like it this much.

Yesterday my QB for ECU, Devon Drew, won all three as well. The funny thing is that as far as QB rating and compleation % he was mid-pack at best. Get this, he had the most INT's too! (i throw a lot of dumb passes) He did however have around 35TD's rushing and passing, around 2000 passing and 1000 rushing. Needless to say, this season im playing on heismen.
